MERC 650 Remote control box Tachometer connector harnest was cut in half NEED HELP

I have the harnest that plugs into the tach connector on the front side of the Remote control box on a 650 merc t.bolt ignition, but the harnest itself was cut in half.
So now when i plug it in i have a white, brown, black wire hanging there ??
Any help on where i have to run these wires to would be great thanks.
O and what kind of wire can i splice to make them longer? because they are only about a foot long from the plugin.

I think you are saying you can see this other end of the wires if so white to white brown to brown and so on . with 16 gage wire. if not you need to get wireing for your 650 merc think you may fine it at www.maxrules.com
