Okay merc 500 1975 50hp new fuel pump,cleaned carbs and new fuel line,timing belt.runs great but when u put it under load it dies right out..Im trying to do a lync and sync when i shine the liight i see to timing marks one way over to the left and the other on the marking cowl..what one do i go with??? also when i put it in gear it stalls out so how can i get it to stay running?? Can i manually mess with the distribtor and throttle and skip the light if i take it in the water??? and when it feels good just set it that way??? thanks

if you want if right . flow the guidelines i sent you. check you compression. they can run great without a load, and still have a couple of low cylinders.
