merc 5.7 i/o

when i;m in gear and the rpm's are coming up it starts to vibrate as it go's up it clears up. can you heap ?:

Little more information. At what RPM/RPM's does it vibrate? Does it do it both when accelerating and decelerating? Is the prop in PERFECT condition with no nicks, dings or bent blades?

With all the information you give,....

I'd say a Full Service,+ complete Tune-up will probably Fix it.....

I'm sure your Mechanic will find the Actual Reason for the vibration along his way....

the engine was just tuned, grease & oil done. it has a bravo drive with a new prop. they replaced the gimble bearing. i think the vibration starts at about 2000 and stops at 2200. both going up & down.

Could be the ujoints starting to go bad, Was the alignment checked when they did the gimbal bearing? What year engine and drive, carbed, efi ?????
Some boats have an rpm band where there is a bit of vibration. Is this boat new to you? Have you tried different trim positions?

she is a 1996 pro-line 231 wa. from bow to aft she is 25' 6" long. efi bravo leg 14" prop. wish i could send pic's thanks
