merc 25 hp 1982 2 stroke wont idle

Compression both cylinders 150, new plugs, great spark. real rough idle, hard to start. ser # 6211270. i had read where i could have a coil break down????? Really could use some help> Thanks

Acts like flooding? Replace fuel diaphragm on side f carb...

No it's not flooding since I posted this I had a carb kit ordered it finally came in I rebuilt the carb started the motor same problem hard start rough idle I want to adjust the adjusting screw turn it in turn it out doesn't change the motor what did I forget

If you turn the low speed screw and nothing happens your carb is probably dirty. Soak it and blow it out with compressed air.
