I have an old merc 110 I picked up from my dad (SN3005755). Wouldn’t fire and after much looking I ended up getting new insulator blocks and running new wires to the points. I was super excited when it started up first pull after doing this. Took it out and it was extremely under powered. Lifted the cowl and one of the studs from the top coil had pulled out of the coil body. Tried shoving it back in with no luck. My question is can these studs be glued back in or should I bite the bullet and buy the expensive NOS coil? Thanks for any help
