I don't smoke, drink, or chew, or go with women that do.

Oh no, I do something much worse.

I BASS FISH.

Just ask my wife..LOL

LOL!!
When I started my (now) wife, I told her " I don't smoke, do drugs, chase women, or drink to excess. I do however flyfish." I forget exactly when she started wishing I did some of those other things.:D

Addictions/weaknesses? Boy, a guy could get into trouble if the wife ever read this thread!

For me, it's mostly things I cannot have ( weakness ) and things that I do have ( addiction ).

In reality, the list is pretty small. I collect hotwheels, but not obsessively, only if one catches my eye.

I love to buy tools, but only buy if I have a need or future need for it ( realistically ).

I'm addicted to playing bejeweled blitz on Facebook currently...gotta have the high score each week! ( currently 381k )

Beyond that, I think most things fall within the normal range. I think I've been tempered on a lot of them due to the fact that money is tight enough that I can't just go do things whenever I want to.

I have a hard time saying no to the wife though ( love to spoil her ) and I like to spoil my kids if they give me a reason to.

I think my biggest weakness is anything that I can get for nothing. I just brought home 2 truck/trailer loads worth of various wood/nuts and bolts/stuff from my Dad when he moved to Texas. Didn't want to pay to haul it down there and it was mine if I wanted it. Got a cast iron wood burning free standing stove and a 1957 shopsmith out of the deal as well as a propane convection heater and some hole savers for ice fishing ( not that I do any hardwater fishing mind you ).

Actually, my wife started coming along, just to panfish you see.

Then I got her to throw a bass lure. I purposely put her on my honey hole and threw my lure "away."

Now, she's my fishin' partner and durn tough competition.

Wasn't always that way, though.

I had to think on this one.

- good food (and nothing out of a box)

-work ( its like a life line for me and would go nuts with out it)

-tools ( can never have to many)

-being out on the water (for any reason)

-family
