Interesting thought and I guess confession :p

We all have small addictions..... read some of the iboats posts ;)

Hot Sauce ....... an addiction and many of us are always looking for something hotter or tasty.... when they make your brow sweat you have reached nirvana :)

Pocket knives and hunting knives ...... always seem to pick up a few a year

Multi tools ..... got a few of them too

Flashlights.....OMG how many do you have scattered around? I was so impressed by the cheap 9 led lights I bought one for every vehicle I have just in case ........

Office people have favorite pen's or mechanical pencils ..... staples is always a place to browse for them,

Coffee cups..... I have a dedicated cup that is MINE same with my favorite beverage glass... very protected items.

Bullets..... being a shooter it seems like I have bullets for just about every occasion ....... hollow points, ballistic tip, soft points, flat points, match and just about every weight available

Guns..... let's just say I have many..... MANY

Wrist watches...... I have a handful

My wife has her weak spots too and I believe they are a direct result of mine.... shoes, coach purses and books.......I also think she is addicted to shiny things like jewelry

What's your weakness? :D

Re: Men's addictions/weakness

My weaknesses are:
1. Baby back ribs (actually any meat that is recently deceased-including road kill), chocolate, microbrew beers and seafood.
Women who pay even the slightest attention to me.
Guns, fireworks, plastique-anything that goes boom.
Tubas or any brass horns, guitars, huge sound systems.
Sailboats,houseboats,canoes,kayaks-anything to get me off the beach and out onto the big briney.:D

Boats, mostly projects.....can't seem to stop dreaming or looking for another one.

Fly Rods.....couple new ones every year.

Fly Tying Material.......I used to spend more than I want to think about, Now everyone who knows just gives me skins, Tails, feathers......Let's say dedicated room and now not enough time. I still buy lots of specialized stuff though.

Cordage.......OMFG

PFDs......Always picking them up on sale, and have found alot along the road too.

Tools......and toolboxes to store them another real bad addiction

Copper cookware, mostly Paul Revere.
Henckels cutlery

Slabs of dead steer or buck, flame broiled back to life temperature.

My weakness? Sale items at Harbor Freight.

I know their stuff is mostly Chinese junk, but I'll never use it more than 2 or 3 times and I'm a hooked fish when I receive the Harbor Freight discount coupon booklet.

Re: Men's addictions/weakness

Addiction is typified by craving,

right now I crave a tig welder, I don't know why but I'll get one just in case.
