Engine has been running fine, however, pulled cowl off to inspect and noticed wiring harness was melted at the connectors. Voltage regulator (black square box) doesn’t appear to be melted or any signs of being hot. Should it be replaced (or anything else) or just repair damaged wire’s? Hard to believe, but engine was running good.
