Measure your transom instead, Lone.<br /><br />At the center of the transom from the top to the lowest point (keel) is within an inch of 15" (short), 20" (long) or 25" (Xtra long). That is the shaft length you want.<br /><br />Red sky at night. ..<br />JB
And, if you want to measure your old motor, measure from the inside top edge of the "U" (where your transom clamp is), to the top of your cavitation plate, and round it to the closest 5- inch (it should be either 15", 20", or 25").
