Re: McKinney admits wrong, apologizes

Skinny you got me, she should have been on her knees begging she be punished for her wrongs.

I do not doubt that her apology was a result of influence of others. But at least she made a run at it.

As far as the charges go, I am not sure she is not immune as an elected government official. They do have a certain level of immunity, I am just not sure to what all it applies.

A Normal person would have complied with the LEO, in the 1st Place.......

Before,... I'd have given her some Respect,.. Just for being Able to be Elected to Any Office........

Now,..... I have NO Respect At All,.....Contempt is More like it.........

Just another Elitest Liberal who Thinks her $h!t Doesn't Stink............

TXS it was a misdameaner possetion charge......very small amount........first offence and no trouble after that.......the charge was over 8 yrs old when they " Found me" you see they took my State issued I.D. and never persued it until over 2 yrs later when they sent the summons to me at an address that never exsisted.......I got a lawyer they said even though the statue of limitations was well past they were not going to honor that because they "ATTEMPTED" to contact me before 7 yrs was up.......Im still in the process of dealing with this and now since Im in another state I will have to fly 700 miles and walk into court so they can give me my $500 max fine and I can pay it......So no I didnt run.......I have been arrested and to court 3 times and have dumped $1,700 into lawyers for this crime I commited. thats just the way the system works.....unless your a polition.......She should face the music too.....That will be a min. of 4 court visits. I wonder how much the state of Wi. paid to exact its justice on me?

I do rally your cause as I support legalized marijuana and to think what such a senseless charge cost you is ridiculous. I have seen improper notice cost good folks lots of money when it was some lazy person failed to type the address correct on notice.

I am with you on the old charge cr...p, especially when it should be handled by phone, ok I did it how about a reasonable fine, yes check is in the mail. Glad it was a misdemeanor.

Kwas, was it not you that said DeLay resigned because he was indited (sp.) I was just pointing out the De Lay in resigning. Gittit I made a pun.

Happy to see you hold yourself above it, OJ.

Besides, I thought the word "stupid" was ok to be used as long is was used with sincerity. "Stupid" is then applied to each individual reader as they decide for themselves if "the shoe fits."

Doing the right thing late is a whole lot better than not at all.

Why she did it and what was on her mind is only speculation. Same with the apology.

JB said:

You bunch of stupid Bush bashers are as one sided and narrow minded as it gets. You are all stupid, incompetent, dishonest, unethical, scheming liars in cahoots with the terrorists to undermine our country and promote the cause of world anarchy.
That is mainly txs, HM, PW2 et al, but if the shoe fits. .
So as I see it, you can call another person stupid, a liar, narrow minded, incompetent, dishonest, unethical, and something just short of a terrorist.

When all he77 then breaks loose and you(the name caller) have regained your composure, you can go back and make the claim it was done in "tongue and cheek." Sounds fair enough to me.

Think I'll try this sequential posts trick.

txswinner, you are really starting/getting into a lot of fights here lately. Isn't that exactly what your Doc told you not to do? Is it a compulsion you cannot resist or are you deliberately setting out to have a stroke?

Well, CJY.

The whole incident shouldn't have happened. I was wrong and I apologise.

.
When a thread digresses to name calling and apologies for name calling, and ignores the issue, it needs to go away.

It probably will BB. Just clearing up some old business. Thanks for your concern though and bumping it back to the top of course.

I'm sure the radical right media circus is enjoying this, and hoping against hope that Hillary says something, anything, that will divert attention from all the various legal and ethical messes their guys are involved in. Cynthia helps, for sure, but she is small potatoes.

Not a potato, no she definitely doesn't have the brains to be a potato. A small pea maybe :D

What a waste. This was already covered in Aspecks thread. I guess Texass has to get his attention for the day.

Re: McKinney admits wrong, apologizes

I find it interesting that the fact that this person pulls out the race card, tried to besmurch the LEO's reputation and name, was willing to divide the country along racial lines to cover her elitist attitude of not wearing the pin indentifying who she was, felt empowered to implicate the entire force with systematic racism and gets a flyer on a non-specific, generic apology to nobody.

She owes the LE officer an apology, the LE force an apology, congress an apology, her constituants an apology, the nation an apology, people who are truely victims of racism an apology, and face the punishments that you or I would face if we struck a LEO. An apology is like any offer, it can be accepted or rejected. This disgusting behavior is not worthy of our forgiveness. I would forgive her in a heartbeat for the actual action, but using the stigma of racism to cover her arrogance is a lie and disingenuious. With authority comes responsibility. Carry the weight.

Remember she struck this man. That is what she did wrong. I don't hear an apology. Because there was none. Just a political backstep. Cowardise.
