16.5 foot bass boat, Yamaha 115HP V4 two stroke, Quicksilver Laser II x 22" pitch prop.<br /><br />Is it possible that with two people on board WOT is 43mph at 5200 RPM yet with 6 onboard same speed but only 4500 RPM ???
Speed is off GPS. The figures I am quoting are from memory (which is probably not as good as it should be). Thinking about it when it was running at 4500 I was on a river heading upstream, maybe that caused the difference (the river runs at about 5mph). I will have to double check the figures next time I am out on the boat.
