What is the max RPM's I should run my 225 Johnson for say a 1 hour duration. I usually cruise around 4500 but if I'm trying to out run a storm what could I run for an hour or so.
That motor should be capeable of 5800+ with an average load. Then its not lugging at any throttle setting. Set up properly you can run them at any given rpm including wot for a hour or more, no problem.<br /><br />Good luck!
