About 5 years ago when I was in college I bought a 14 foot Starcraft Jon boat from my girlfriends cousin in Connecticut with no title or registration. She decided to stick around and we’re still together, so I can get her cousin to sign his boat over to me but he can not find the title and CT’s government is not sending out replacement titles right now due to covid backups.
Does anyone have any tips to expedite this process? The boat is still stickered so we can trace it back to his name but I now live in Maryland and the boat lives here with me. I don’t mind driving up there on a weekend and doing what needs to be done but I’d like some guidance before making that decision. Any help here is much appreciated guys!
