Mariner 8m problem

Hi, I have a Mariner motor and there is no gas getting to the spark plugs, im pretty sure there is gas getting to the carbirator but im not really sure. When the gas filter is not filled up a whole lot it runs for about a good 2-3 seconds then the engine shuts off. The model number is 8M 677. Anyone know what the problem could be?

When the engine runs, try pumping the bulb on the fuel line, also check that you have proper ventilation at your fuel tank .... if the problem persist, it is time to give those carb a good clean .....
