I baught this houseboat but the engine wont run. It turn over and acts like its fireing but wont run. Any thoughts? Its getting spark.

3 or 4 cylinder ?-----Serial # is ?----Do you know when it ran last ?-----Are you advancing THROTTLE warm up lever ?-----Pushing key in while cranking it over ?
