Going to guess that your tilt mechanism is between the clamp brackets. When looking from the rear there is one screw about the size of a nickel to quarter coin with a slotted hex nylon plug near the bottom of the assembly.....that's the fill/drain and full is even with the threads when the engine is vertical...aka any more fluid and with the plug out it will run out of the sump.
Over on the starboard side/right/curb whatever you want to call it, should be another screw which will open a bypass channel and allow fluid pressure to release. Just back it out till the engine starts dropping.....then don't forget to tighten it back up.
Blue sky, green grass on up-down circuit color codes. 2 usual causes are a defective switch or bad relay. If you have a switch on the side of the engine and also one on your remote you can quickly determine if the switch is the culprit.
If not the switch, pop the cowl and on the starboard side of the engine (or somewhere in there on that side), you should find 2 identical relays, one with blue wiring and the other green. Pull out the relays and change places. If the problem follows the relay, you have your smoking gun!
