Hey guys, recently picked up a mid 90s Mariner 60 hp 2 stroke outboard, ran well when I bought it but had been sitting for about 6 months the seller said. Ran fine again when I got it home but then about a week later I was adjusting the idle when it conked out and hasn't started since. I adjusted the idle back to it's original position then figured out that the engine was getting fuel but no spark on all 3 cylinders all of a sudden. All coils are receiving power when I crank the engine but that's just based off a multimeter testing dc volts so I'm not sure if that actually means they're fine. Any ideas?
Cheers :)

Also I know that the black with yellow stripe wire is the kill switch, but even with that disconnected it still cranks but wont start.

Get a Mercury service manual. It tells you how to test the ignition system

Charge the battery and have battery load tested.----No money spent here.
