Mariner 30HP need year for parts.

Hi there,

I am brand new to this forum so hope this is the right place to ask.

I have a Mariner 30HP outboard with the following details.

Mariner 30 AE
689 404136
Made in Japan

One of the wires on spark plugs is broken and need to replace but can't seem to find the details anywhere without the year of the engine.

Built in 1983
