Mariner 25hp 1979 engine

Hello, my first post and I'm after a little help. Ideally I'm trying to track down a service/workshop manual for this engine.
The serial number plate reads:
Mariner 25cm 695 s 001043
From this I think it is a 1979 engine, it has made in Japan stamped all over it.

My friend has purchased one manual covering all engines from Mercury mariner 1965 to 1991 but this engine is not covered in the paperwork.

Any help pointing me in the right direction of a manual or any other service help in the uk would be much appreciated.

You need the manual that covers yamaha built mariners which is what you have. Your mercury manual is for American built mercs.

Seloc has one you can find it on ebay. you want the seloc that covers 1977-89 1&2 cyl motors that is the one I have
