Mariner 200 efi 1992 oil hose?

Can someone tell me where this hose is supposed to go?
As you see it's a T on the oil hose from main tank to small tank on the engine.

Is it just for ventilation?

that "t" is a pressure relief valve.. that is tha vent side.. i've never seen one that has had to release pressure....
