My 1985 Mariner 115 L6 continues to have problems that I believe are electrical in nature. The boat runs great for 10~ minutes - from startidle/ through full throttle and then loosed RPMs' /power and begins to stall when shifting from neutral to forward or reverse. So far I have:
+ Rebuilt the fuel pump
+ Changed the fuel lines and gaswater separator new gas/water seperator
+ Changed the plugs and wires
+ Replaced coil # 2 - which was cracked on the interior side
+Found cracks in the insulation and repaired the two yellow wires that come off the stator Compression lead to the rectifier
Compresion check (when the engine was cylinders) showed similar readings on all 6 cylandars.
I see on a post above that the switches can Anyall a place to look. appreciated other BajaHawk?
Any/all ideas help are very much appeciated!
