Congratulations on both wins, angus. That's a heckuva basketball team. Of course, I picked my Iowa Hawkeyes to beat them in the round of 32 in an extreme fit of optimism. Oh well. At least Iowa now has some bragging rights in that it took a National Champion to knock us out of the tourney.

Mixed emotions about the championship. I kind of wanted to see Villanova win it but Marcus Paige for NC is a local kid from Marion, IA and it would have been fun for him to get a championship before he graduated. I don't know him myself but he's a really great kid by all accounts. I have relatives who live in Marion who know him a little bit and all say there is no better guy. A fair number of small minded Iowa fans strongly dislike him for "defecting" to North Carolina but that was his dream school from the time he was in 7th grade.

Anyway, great game.
