I am working on my 1978 175 HP black Max. I bought a SELOC manual, but it covers too many engines to be useful. Are the facatory manuals any better?

Re: manuals

Thanks Laddies - I will look for an OEM manual.

Re: manuals

OEM manuals although more expensive are the only ones worth buying.

Re: manuals

Have had both the Seloc manual and the Clymer manual for two different outboards I've owned. Both came with the motors when I bought them.

The Seloc manual is by far the worst. The Clymer IMHO is much better as far as content, layout and presentation.

Based on members recommendation here, I am currently looking for a factory manual for my motor.
