VP AQ290: The manifold kit literature says to not use a thread sealant with Teflon to install the hose nipple and plugs. What is recommended? Perfect Seal?

I think what it states is not to use teflon tape.A tube sealant is fine.

What they are concerned about is you over tightening the plug and cracking the casting.<br />Never use teflon tape on castings. Teflon sealant is fine, just be cautious of over tightening.

Thanks for the information and guidance. "snug tight" is the key (and without tape)
