Hi Folks,
I've just bought a little boat with a 1986 Johnson 140 outboard.
Someone has had taken to the control box and removed the warning horn and disconnected the safety switch.
I've managed to work out that the black and yellow (engine kill) and black (ground) wires connect to the missing switch although I'm unsure of what wires I need to connect to a new warning horn.
From trawling the forums, I understand that there are three connections on the warning horn but I'm not sure what these are - apparently the two temperature sensors from the two halves of the V4 block will ground and sound the alarm and there is some form of oil warning but I'm not quite sure how this is all connected together.
Any guidance on this would be gratefully received.
Kind regards,
Martin.
