I found the reason why my friends boat was hard to shift after his repower.
His shift interuptor switches were not connected to his new mallory distributors,just ziptied back!
I can only find info on mercruiser wiring with factory components ,like spark amplifier and mercruiser distributor.
Which wire is the swich supposed to tap into on the mallory dist?
Is there a kit?
The boat I am working on has dual 350 four brl. engines, mercruiser alpha 1 gen1 1981 and mallory unilite three wire distributors.
I think the wires are brown, red and green coming from the dist.
