my 1965 50HP Merc wont fire. I put in new points and cond with proper gap and disconnected external wires that could ground out mag. hooked up ohm meter to points and see alternate deflection of needle as i turn mag. see continuity thru coil assembly. tried spare mag with same results, but dont know condition of spare mag, rotor turns as motor is cranked, spark plug wires continuity test ok. any ideas?
