Lund boat decoding

I bought a 12 foot Lund fishing boat... It has the serial number on a metal tag on the transom (inside). There are no other identifying marks on the boat... I did go to the Lund site for older Lund boats to see if there was a way to decode the serial number to find out what year my boat is... and came up empty.... In the archives, it appears to be a 1970's boat simply by looking and comparing.... I have tried to contact Lund boats in northern MN and they keep re-directing all inquiries to a dealer... and I haven't gone to a dealer yet, because I simply don't think they will help.... Has anybody figured out what year their older vintage Lund boat is from the serial number? Advice? Suggestions appreciated.... thanks...

Its highly likely you're drilling a dry hole and its unlikely to produce any results.

If you think its a 70s Lund, tag it as 1 and move on to more important stuff: prepping it for fishing
