Luhrs Alura 35' - fuel tank replacement

I am looking for advice on how to remove the fuel tanks on the Alura 35'. I've had some boat yards look at the boat and price out the job. So far, everyone has said they'd have to cut open the side of the boat. I'd like to know if anyone has been successful replacing these tanks by some other means. Or, maybe you can refer me to someone else who might know. Thanks.

first, welcome aboard.

regarding your fuel tanks, remember, the bare hull had teh fuel tanks and motors installed before the hull was capped.

the choices are cut out the floor, cut out the transom, or uncap the hull.
