I have the old cable-type steering, is there a certain kind of water-resistant lubricant to use on it? Also I want to lubricate the motor controls as well since they're getting sticky.
If I may hitch a ride off this original question - how often should one do this? I am in South Florida and I think I ride mine 50/50 between fresh and salt water.
