Anyone ever tried a glycerine based hand moisterizer?
This Glycomed I have here is Chamoile and Glycerine

I read a Volvo Penta uses a glycerine based lubrication is the OEM
Read petrolium jelly is not a good idea, water based KY dish soap and is OK
Does lubrication matter? Surely it would be washed away pretty quickly

Windex also works.

however coming down the aisle at the store with 2 gallons of motor oil, 3 quarts of gear lube and a bottle of KY raises eyebrows

told the clerk it was a party

lol!
First start of the season I disconnect the raw water intake hose at the thermo housing after hooking up the muffs and fill the raw water intake line with a mix of water and Dawn dish soap. That lubes the impeller before the water even gets up there from the hose.
