Lowrance VS Hummingbird

I have a Lowrance elite-5 chirp and a Hummingbird helix 5 DI G2. Both have DI, both have 5 inch screens, the elite 5 has mapping. My question is, should I put the elite 5 at the helm because it has mapping, and also will I get interference with the units.0

If the ducers are wired correctly and mounted far enough apart it should not make any difference. I'd put the map where it's easier to see, but fish are important to.
