The retainer plate goes in.----Then one snap ring in the one groove.---And one snap ring in the other groove.-----I say it all the time.----This should be easy.

Thank you. You are truly guiding me along! One more question I am getting differing lengths. What is the proper length for the shift rod ?

What lengths do you find and what source??----And how are you measuring it ?

A simple way to prevent problems during repairs.

Take a picture of EVERY step. Of each part BEFORE you remove it. As you do disassembly. I still do it on somethings.
