lower unit

is there a way to flush a lower unit ? it is a 140 hp evenrude year 1981. just got the boat runs great. but lower unit lube is black!!!!!!!

Just drain and change it. Watch for metal shavings in the old oil as they indicate a problem. If none there the change should do it.
