Lower unit wont seperate from top plate i/0 alpha one

All 6 bolts and the water pump disconnected. Tap pretty hard with rubber mallet. Wont seperate. Am i missing something i did rebuild this 3 years ago?

Ayuh,..... I'm guessing the 7th bolt under the trim tab,....

Buy a good MANUAL. YOU WILL NEED IT!

I have it sometimes things need a little help to avoid breaking something. Thanks

Was stuck. Finally used long allen and tapped it in bolt hole to loosen. Thanks for responding

I have a few oak wedges in my stash. If I can crack the joint a bit, it's coming off. ....Same for a lower unit pull.
Dab a little waterproof grease on the dowels before buttoning it back up.

Don't beat yourself up too much if you missed or forgot the trim anode hidden bolt....All the guys that read your post and instantly, that bolt came to their mind (me included)....only did so....becuase we have all at one point in the early days, forgotten about that bolt !
