Look at the top of this page you will see a text link that looks like below:

" iboats Boating Forums > Repair and Maintenance > Yamaha & Suzuki Outboards > Lower Unit Won't Separate DT65 "

Click on the words "iboats boating forums" this will take you to the forums home page. Then look for the appropriate forum category and go there. Once inside a category there will be a "Create New Post" button on the left side of the page below the toolbar.

the lower unit is not threaded the only thing holding it in is the salt build up, it just needs some gentle force and wd40 and time
