You will need the manual for this task, and yes,special tools are required. But an industrious guy with an auto parts store nearby, can buy, or make all the required tools.<br />For instance, you will want to test it afterwards, to make sure it is indead sealed.For this, you might want to take a bicycle pump with an air gauge, and make a fitting that adapts the air hose to fit the threads of the vent or fill screws.<br />If the only seal which has failed is the prop seal, it won't require a complete teardown. To determine THAT, you can charge the L/U with about 10lbs air,and submerge it into a garbage can,while lookin for bubbles.<br />But do get the book on your motor.Trust me, it WILL pay for itself on this one job alone, and you'll allways have it to refere-back to for all other specs.
