Quick silver premium is fine . Their high performance bottle is better. If you're on a limited budget, Walmart's Supertech gear oil will work too.

So it's been a month and the oil went back to the color of fresh out of the bottle and no water in the bottom. I have a water pump kit but I'm just going to save it for 4 years from now because I changed the impeller last year.

I'd say about 9/half Oz maybe 10oz with the leftover drips in the dish and motor. It's a plastic measure cup but it's see thru. The wife will be pissed enough about me using this.

Buy her a New Measuring Cup. This one will reek of Gear Oil for a long long time

Oil likely had tinee, tinee air bubbles.----Often mistaken for the dreaded " water in the oil " event.
