Lower unit help

[Bass'in out]

I have a 1983 60HP Johnson VRO with a siezed lower unit. I am told that 1977-1988 will work on this. It is a 3 cylinder with corse thread drive. Can anyone confirm please as I am in need of a replacement ASAP

Take your model number and look up the part number of the lower unit ... then check some of the other motors you suggested might interchange and see if any of them use the same part #.

For instance ... model J60ECTB uses part # 0392196.
