lower unit help plz

i got a johson qd15. it is jumping out of gear. and from what i have found on this site its the clutch dog or maybe the forward gear.

now here is my question. does anyone know if the lower unit off a qd10 1955 will fit the qd15 1954?

Not sure myself, but if you look in the "Top Secret File", there is a list of salvage yards there. Give some of them a call and see if they have some sort of conversion chart or something that might help you out.
