I have a 1998 Triton 19ft with a Mercury 175 efi compression on all 6 cylinders is good just on the low side from 100 to 98 on all 6. My Question is a rebuild my only option to get better compression? Boat runs good but is idling rough and has gotten slow out of the hole is that because of low compression also?

With all 6 cylinders reading about the same, are you sure it's not simply your gauge reading low? Maybe your compression is fine but you have something else going on?

Welcome to iboats

Try using a different Compression Gauge.
How long have you owned this motor?
Did it just start acting up?
You could try spraying a couple cans of Power Tune into the Engine, to make sure the Rings are free
How was it winterized?
