I was just docking at the ramp when my wonderful wife says: "I'll get the trailer, honey". Now...she has NEVER backed a trailer in her life,, but I'm thinking: " there's no reason why she COULDN"T back a trailer".<br /><br />Predictably she goes to the truck, starts to come back, and the trailer jack-knifes. She bends the trailer 90 degress over and crunches the bumper.<br /><br />(I am way too far away to make screaming and cussing useful)<br /><br />She pulls forward, and of course, jacks it back the other way and crunches the bumper again!.<br /><br />She pulls forward, gets out, and walks back to me as if nothing has happened. She says:"I guess you better get it"<br /><br />I said: " Honey, did that crunching, popping, screaching sound bother you dear?"<br /><br />When I got home I had to take off the ball in order to free the truck from the trailer. I left the bumper as is as a daily remminder not to let her do that again. Thank God it was just an old truck.
