I can't find the seal kit for The 1966 5hp only a 5.5hp what seal kit do I need? Also what size shear pin do I need for the prop.

Well I emailed them last week they didn't reply so I tried again they still didn't reply. So nobody knows what will fit this motor?

Let's face it, yours is not a real common motor. When you start asking questions about shaft size and stuff like that, you stump us. And not many of us can run out to the shop and measure one. The 5hp was a price leader motor sold to compete with the Eskas and Clintons of the day, offering OMC quality at a low price. But people still bought the Cheapo Eskas and Clintons. If they recognized quality they bought the Evinrude/Johnson 6hp motors.

Well do you know if it shares the same lu as any other model? I was starting to think this was a rarer model.

I got the broken bolt drilled and tapped got all new bolts too. What ratio should this motor be run at. Non of the people have replied to my email about parts.

Okay so I'm going to order just the impeller because the lu doesn't leak and I don't know what lu seal kit I need. So nobody knows if a seal kit for a different motor will fit?
