lost spark

hello

my buddy has a sea ray weekender with a 260 merc in it we replaced the rotor and cap along with the coil pack and wires still have no spark any help will be nice. i don't know if i can check the ingtion box or the pick up coil

why not?

there is an awesome troubleshooting guide for merc electronic ignition systems in the manual

head up to the adults only sticky and look under the mercruiser manuals link

locate the proper manual for your engine and download it

i went thru all that my self and it ended up being the tac was bad so now no tac but great spark lol

Yes that is a good test and idea, Unhook the gray wire of the back of the rpm gauge and see if you get spark.
