I'm not really sure where to post this but this but...I have a 14 ft aluminum with a 25 horse Yamaha, the gas tank(6.5 gal) sits in front under a homemade casting deck. My question is with the motor off, when I prime the fuel line by pumping the bulb, it takes around 15 to 20 pumps, when the bulb gets hard and I pump it again it looses prime again and I have to re pump it. My outboard has been starving for gas recently is there something wrong with my bulb? Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Losing Prime

Replace the bulb, it's supposed to have a one-way valve in it to keep fuel in the line.
