1987 150hp Crossflow Evinrude

The "CU" within the model number indicates the engine is a 1987 model, a 90? crossflow. The only V6 loopers in 1987 would be the 200hp and the 225hp model.

Emdsapmgr..... True, I should have mentioned the V4's also. I was speaking only of the V6 models and have edited my previous post to enter the V6 mention.

Edit 03/28/11: Poster's engine is a 1987 90? Crossflow 150hp V6 Evinrude.

My aplogies for the previous omissions, must be getting too old for this.

Not to mention that it is a 90* motor...part of his original question.

Yes crossflow. It was there, just camoflaged in among the looper discussion...;)

Google crossflow and loop charged and read up on the differences....interesting.

Joe, I doubt you are getting as old as I feel.
