Hi guys lust brought Vickers easyrider 156 with a 110 V4 Evinrude 2 stroke motor in the back.
When taking it out noticed it doesn't have a alternator or a regulator rectifier. Was wondering if I could put a rectifier in but couldn't find the lighting coil. Was wondering if it has one and if so could you please point me in the right direction ??

Cheers Isidro

Model # of your motor ?----The stator under the flywheel charges the battery.----Models without power trim / tilt had a rectifier.------Those with trim / tilt did come with voltage regulator.-----Regulator would be found on top of the block.----It is water cooled.

The model of the motor is 1975 Evinrude motor 110hp V4. Ok that makes sense it just each time we take it out we always have to charge it before hand. It does have trim/ tilt and it is water cooled. Do you think the voltage regulator could be faulty??

I doubt it is a 1975 model !!----Well , yes most Evinrude motors are water cooled !----Post model # or pictures for further help on this topic.

Post #2 asks for a model #-----And to me post #3 clearly indicates to me that the model # is needed.-----No such thing as a 110 HP in 1975.

Could be a 1975 with 110hp cowl......need to post model number as requested as everything else is guessing. You could have a round one if old motor or water cooled if new motor.
