The owners manuals for most small boats, unlike thise for cars, amounts to a very generic booklet that gives you basic navigation info and basic boaters safety info.

You'd be far better off telling us what info you are seeking here than trying to find an owners manual....

Manuals for specific systems otoh are available. For example an engine service manual can be obtained for whatever power plant you have. Or if you have an installed equipment such as a depth finder the manufacturer of that equipment likely has a manual online.

You can contact Larson, they may have pdf's in the archives. However as Kevin pointed out, boar manuals themselves are light on anything except the basics.

Ditto - you may be able to find manuals on engines - seloc provides manuals.

Other then the manufacturer's advertisement yearly brochures, I haven't seen any owners manuals for the actual boat. Plenty of engine manuals but no boat manuals. And I will say this, if you do plan on buying a engine manual, but the factory, engine specific, HP, Year, and Model specific shop manual for your engine. Don't bother with after market manuals. They try to cover so many engines and models that they lack any real info about any engine. The factory manuals are the gospel indeed and well worth the money...

Yep. Factory manuals are the way to go. You can use the Seloc as a knee pad as you work.

Thanks all I was thinking like a car manual. So basically I was just wondering what all my switches do ( some I know lol) also does this boat have a choke for starting? I'm used to my dads pro v that you depress a button on the side of the gear/throttle and that allows the Motor to rev without engaging the drive.

I asked Larson for a manual for my '97 SEi 186 and they didn't have any from that long ago. Don't know if your luck would be any better for a 2000. They did have a manual for a newer model that they gave me in electronic format. It explained some of the switches, etc., on my boat. It wouldn't hurt to email them and ask them. I found them to be very friendly and helpful.

first pic: ANC/NAV light (navigation lights: red & green lights on front of boat; anchoring light is the white light on a pole; should be a socket in the rear of the boat to receive the light which is stowed in the engine compartment)
BILGE runs the bilge pump, CTSY LT. should turn on some internal lighting (I'm not entirely sure, because of my boat, it does nothing)
ACCY1 and ACCY2 power an accessory circuit (may or may not be connected to anything on your boat; on mine, they power the stereo)

pic 2: HORN is obvious, BLOWER turns on the bilge blower to exhaust fuel fumes before you start the boat

Pic 3: if you do not have a button on the center of the throttle to allow the engine to run while not in gear, you may have the type where the entire handle can be popped out to disengage the drive. With the throttle straight up, grasp the base and pull it out about a quarter of an inch. You should then be able to move the throttle forward without engaging the drive.

My owners manual covers a number of different models and has wiring diagrams and basic specs (fuel tank size, OE prop pitch & diameter, recommended RPM range at WOT). Maybe they were trying to compensate for their spotty build quality.
