Do you have any facts to base that on??? I'm looking for info, not opinions.
Mike, I am looking at this post from 2022 so I'm sure you already have your answer but I too was curious about terminal Marine advertising a used Suzuki 70 for $1,300 when I just paid $3,000 for the same year motor with the same hours and thought I got a good deal. On their website they also advertise a new Suzuki df70 brand new for around $4,000. That is half of what they cost. In addition no major outboard manufacturer will sell you a motor over 40 horsepower without installing it themselves for the warranty or at least inspecting the installation after you have completed it yourself. There is another website if you Google the same question with real people who have sent real USD cash to Terminal marine and lost it all. Another red flag is when it comes to the " purchase now "screen there is no option for a credit or debit card because they know that you can just cancel it with your bank if it's a scam. the only way they accept is a wire transfer which is non-reversible. Like I said I'm answering this a year later I'm sure you already know but want to alert anyone else that is on this forum that terminal Marine is a scam all the way. If you are looking for a good used outboard motor I can steer you in the direction of a few places at least in the south Florida area and for anybody reading this in January 2023 which is when I am posting it stay away from terminal Marine it is a verifiable scam that is not my opinion that is the truth. I looked for months and found a used Suzuki 70 on eBay and was delighted to find out it was actually at a local dealer close to me I would suggest doing the same good luck and happy boating
