Greg

Don't sound like the same one. He only had one boat when I was there and it was definitely a Starcraft.

Yeah, I will be 100% fishing Lake Michigan. So the V5 hull would make a difference for me on some of the crappier days. I have no problem waiting, as I have a useable boat now, just not quite designed for fishing big water.

Thanks,
Ben

It's a bigger than 18-19 but for what you want to do this would be ideal, looks to be in very nice shape, super quality trailer, adequate power and if a turn key boat reasonably priced. Hull looks very much like the V5 style but it is a few miles over the border to you. I know I'd feel confident salmon fishing Lake Ontario in this rig.

Ooo, that is sweet right there. Twin E-Techs on a bracket:cool:

Basically in your backyard, ain't it?

I didn't respond but a friend who is a welder(world class) says a conversion is easy without the need for an appendage on the back for an outboard.

I am tempted.

That engine and boot are parts waiting for a sale................lol

That hull is totally awesome but with "no driveline" and trailer work just to get it home it's a little spendy.

We all seem to have a fascination with the V5 hull?

Rifled thru some of the older brochures and it appears the V5 was only offered a few years, maybe 78-81, question is why did they pitch the "technology"?

Believe the V5 designer ended up at LUND, hence IPS and IPS2

I would get all the specs on the engine and dingo boot to arrive at a salvage value, then make a reasonable offer. If I could get the net cost for the hull and trailer to 1/2 the asking after parting out the I/O, I would do it.
